Well,
Someone was absent for a while…. (looks around… grins…) oh, yeah, it was me! I doubt anyone missed me, nevertheless, have I got some awesome stuffs to share with you today! In my absence I was taking some time off to clean out and organize (somewhat.. ok… to a very minimal extent..) my inventory in SL, but still had time to hop and skip my way around enough to find this spot I just have to share with you!
My spotlight on cool places to visit for this week is called Groll Inn & Hideout Island and it is an amazingly great place, not to mention awesome photo ops for pirate lovers! The Island is a ghost town of sorts, and the attention to detail is truly wonderful, I was so amazed by the water alone! There is an almost hidden cemetery, an observation tower with a telescope, and plenty of things to see and interact with; I walked around it, flew around it and even had time to lie around…. It is very well thought out, layed out, check out the pics and you’ll see what I mean! My thanks to the owner Groll Greggan for bringing such a wonderful imagination to SL and sharing it with all of us

See what I mean about the water??? I sooo felt like Capt. Jack Sparrow riding on the sinking dingy, lmao! There is even a little sparrow flitting about close to my shoulder!
A perfect place for a lil' drink.. up on top of the roof at the Inn, the telescope/observatory is just behind him!
On the western side of the island behind the Inn is a quaint little cemetery complete with gallows and open crypts...soooo kewl...
Caskets abound in this quiet little hideaway, so the handsome Jack and I decided to float about in one built for two!

Boots: Neko Inertia by Burning Chrome (Midnight Mania Prize) One of my favorite chair & MM haunts!!! I am not ashamed to confess it, I love this place and the freebie pit on the ground floor has some kewl goodies!
Arm Bands: Cracked Leather Ring bands in red from Spider Productions (not free, but still awesome, lol. You MUST check out this store, catering to a diverse clientele from goth, to cyber, vamp, neko, it is packed with some amazing products!)
Leg Strap: Kraykor Lacey straps from Vellas ($50L for pack of 5 colors, quite a bargain, and many more Neko awesomeness, lucky chairs, and midnight Mania board as well, worth the trip for your wallet, lol)
