Hello all, and welcome to my little neck of the SL woods! My name is Amarantha Landar, and I am a friendly, happy-go-lucky Neko who loves to make friends, have fun and most of all HUNT!!! There are a miriad of free items to be had in SL thanks to the generosity of content designers/store owners within SL; there are also many ways in which to obtain said freebies, which I will explain in the page apropriately, and ever so creatively named ’SL Freebies‘ (snickers at herself) (It is to be understood that all these are available in-world, with the exception of XStreet items.)
SL is a medium through which I have found an opportunity to express my fun loving nature and to expand my evergrowing curiosity with regards to virtual worlds, virtual sociability and the never ending supply of genius and creativity found in such places. It is true, as it might be argued, that there is alot more that can be found within this virtual world, and all of it is true, nevertheless, as I always state to those who would criticize it: You get out of SL exactly that which you desire from it. Each one of the people who inhabit this simulated virtual world brings, and adds to the experience something new, and it is entirely up to YOU which road you will travel. I for one, travel, visit, discover the amazing talent and creative powers of the imagination that are flexed within the different simulators created in-world.
It is naught but my sincerest desire to share with all who care to read about it, the wonderful things I discover along the way; not only great freebie and promotional finds, but also great sites to visit, fun places to hang out, and cool photo ops I have found through my meanderings in Second Life (SL). I hope you will all enjoy this blog as much as I am looking forward to sharing it you. Please be patient with me, as I am not a pro at this, and have many things yet to learn on my path to greatness… lol.
