AO: Short for Animation Overrider, this nifty gadget is an attachable hud pre-loaded with animations which will enhance your avatar’s movements. An AO overrides whatever animation comes or is executed by default in-world, giving you the freedom to customize how your avi stands, sits, flies, walks, etc.
AVATAR: (Avi for short) Is a character designed and created by you to represent your presence within SL.
FREEBIE: A term which means precisely that, a free item. Although most items described as such are totally free, many can cost anywhere from $1-10L, which, yes, I know, kinda negates the need for the term being applied to it! Aaarrrggghhh, but, there you have it. There are many ways and places to obtain the aforementioned ‘freebs’, and I will attempt share as many of them as I know, with you in my page SL FReebies.
HUNT: Is a term we use in SL to mean going in search of gifts and freebie items.
IN-WORLD: Meaning inside the SL grid.
$L: The symbol for in-world currency, better known as linden dollars; the exchange rate varies, but you can usually buy them in-world anywhere from $249L+ per $1 US dollar.
NEKO: An avatar who ascribes to feline qualities and wears feline parts, such as a tail, ears, paws, etc.. and which also dresses in a style which is a cross-over between urban and punk.

SIM: Short for ‘simulator’, it is a region within SL. All sims have a different design and theme, and are built and decorated by the owner.
